Chuck, thinking back to when I tried the APC 10x5, the dry lake (smooth) was flooded, so I went up to the old abandoned military airstrip at Manzanar. This is cracked asphalt with chuckholes. I think the little wheels probably dropped down in a crack or hole and chewed my props down. I went through two before giving it up. Plus my landing gear might be splayed out a bit from some not so perfect landings (belly flops).
WHAT KIND OF HOLES?

Oh, I also just remembered that I threw out the stock wheels and the silly screws that were supposed to hold them on. The threads wore out the hubs of the wheels in about 30 flights. I think it's got 2" wheels now and I used bolt on axles. Tracks much better now that the wheels don't wobble. When the gear gets splayed, bend it back.
