For the $130 difference in price, with the Nexstar you get an OS 46 FXi, instead of the decidedly inferior Tower 46, a good flight sim and a larger, better looking & better built model -- one with the ability to handle students that can't tell one end of an airplane from another.

The flight sim alone is worth the difference in price.
