You need to put QUOTE and /QUOTE around the text quoted. These tags need to be in square brackets. Also B and /B for turning bold on and off.
When you hit quote on another post you should see an example of these tags around the text.
Just make sure you open with QUOTE and B and close with /QUOTE and /B.....don't forget the square brackets though!
