Default BVM Maverick Pro Kit?

Maverick,

It's easy to tell---Look at the wing at the root and in the areas that are already routed out for you in the gear area. Of course the white foam is easily recognizable...the injected foam is a beige color. You will easily see where one foam ends and the othe begins. Either version is equally strong, it is just that in the sun if the injected foam is near the surface it could shrink a little on a blistering hot day. No real biggie---The white foam is more stable in the heat and hence, the version with the white foam near the surface is more desirable.

I've seen brakes on here for sale all of the time. If cost is a big factor, go with the Trim wheels and brakes. They are inexpensive and work great. The stock Mavericks used Spring Air heavy duty retracts with wire struts. (On the mains) You could use BV's other gear as an option, especially if you want Robo-Struts. If you could find yourself some Rhom Air jet gear that would probably work too. I also believe that Art's Hobby might have some gear that would drop in instead of the Spring Air and they can incorporate struts too. You can just keep it simple with the S/A's with wire struts and upgrade later.

In flight, this airplane goes exactly where you put it and will knife edge from coast to coast!!! It is a wonderful flyer and easy to build.
