Default RE: Vectorflight Edge 540 build

Yeah it is a shame I really do hope then can come back bigger than ever. I still want to do a VF fly-in that was mentioned way eariler back in the thread. That would be so awsome... I did contact VF about it eariler, as to maybe they could have a representive there or a table setup. They did think it was great idea however, they did't want to attract to much business for their limited space and production time. Maybe something could happen next season...

Yeah gjeffers, It was I who put the large "EDGE 540" on the bottom of the wing, and it was probally the best idea i ever had. Helps with the orientation of the plane and it just looks plain cool when knife edging across the field. The material used is surprizingly strong vs the nitro. I only had a little piece start folding up due it was right in the path of the exhuast. But a little CA and never came up again.

Later on i may just try out the the saito 125. My buddy on the field who was going to sell his YS 110 backed out so im out of a powerhouse. Right now im happy with the saito. Mixed with 30% nitro it hauls quite well, and give the motor a little more run time it could only get better.
