Default RE: E-FLIGHT BLADE CP

Thanks to member Dick Dietz giving us some info on switching from mode 2 to mode 1 I got brave and talked my brother into getting a blade. I used Dicks info to guide me but I did the mode swap just a little different. I pulled the back of the tx off and instead of cutting and splicing the wires from the fore/aft cyclic and collective pots I just de-soldered the three pin header from the pcb and swapped the headers from one pot pcb to the other. then without removing any of the screws that hold the gimbles to the front case I was able to wiggle out the centering bar from the fore/aft cyclic gimble and swap it out. I turned over the throttle friction spring and added a slight bend to it in two places to try and reduce the "notches" on the collective stick. It helped a little but it could be a bit smoother still. It took me 35 minutes to have the tx mode swapped and that was the first time at it. If you open up the tx and look in you cant tell that it was not done from the factory. This could help if you ever need warranty work. you could carefully swap the tx back to mode 2 and send it in. Hopefully that will never need to be done. The blade flys great after the mode swap.
