Default RE: e-flite mini edge 540

Hey guys,

Well, I am sort of raising funds to get my motor and battery pack for the ME. I agree Sean, the foamy's are a ball of fun, no pressure and fly great. We (several friends) have been cutting out foamy's from Blue Corr for about a year or so, we have come up with some fantatic flying planes.... some dogs, but a lot of good ones.

I had a Eflite Ultimate foamy and got rid of it.... shouldn't have, it was a ball to fly. That's another good foamy, but dealing with two wings and getting it set up was a little painful.... after it was dialed in, it was awesome.

I have thought about the Yak.... may have to try one. Thanks for the info.

BTW, I have been flying planes since the 70's.... off and on, and have been flying nitro heli's for about 2 years. I tried a Shogun when they first came out in the electric market, pretty well junk... now it looks like the TRex and the X400 are two very good micro heli's on the market. I think there is one in my future.

I am leaning toward going all small stuff and electric.... tired of nitro, tired of expensive crashes. For instance, I had a botched auto-rotation yesterday on my Hirobo Xspec, total cost of the crash was probably around $150..... and it was a VERY MINOR incident. Little electric's are looking better all the time !
