RE: Showtime
Hi there,
I've been watchning this thread since its early posts. I'm about to finish my Showtime, I left it on the bench for some time as I had some other obligations. In early posts is mentioned that if someone uses a lighter engine such as Saito 100 or YS-110 should place the rudder servo inside the fuselage using a pull pull system. Now it seems that things have changed, even people with lighter engines place the servo at the tail. I plan to use a pull pull system that's why asking. I have istalled a YS-110 in front with JR DS-8425 servos at the tail same weight as the 8411MG and a bit heavier than Hi-Tecs. Does the plane come nose heavy with the YS-110 for 3D? I want to fly a little bit of precision with it not only 3D. I don't really care if it struggles in hover or drops the nose, I want it to harrier well though this is the key in 3D IMO. According to your experience where should I place the rudder servo? Has anyone tried both configurations with the above setup?
Looking forward to replies,
Nick
