guys, c'mon does this plane really need high torque servos all around? 100 dollar servos? i have a quarter scale gasser katana and i am using regular ol hitec 425?s for elev, ail, and a 81 mg for throttle and a high torque metal gear (hitec, cant remember model number) on rudder. never had a problem yet and this is just a 90 size plane! i fly 3-d only and i need some honest advice, i am not big on 4 strokers no offence, just had better luck on 2 strokes (less moving parts etc.) so,...... engine will be thunder tiger pro 120 w/ invert slimline pitts and probabally same hitec setup as my katana do i really need 250 plus in/oz of torque?
