Default RE: Vectorflight Edge 540 build

Finally got back to work on it tonight. Almost had a fire in the shop! I mixed up a BIG batch of 30 min. epoxy to install the wing joiners in the wing halves and got the right side in when I turned around to grab my cup o' epoxy to lather up the left side and the whole shop was filled with smoke behind me! Smelled kind of electrical, well sorta. I half panicked but couldn't think of what it could be...I wasn't charging anything or using any power other than the lights. Then I noticed it was coming from the epoxy. I guess small batches is the ticket. That 30 min stuff got a rock hard ball in it in less than 10 minutes then just set there cookin'. Anyway, a quick whip of a new batch for the left side and all is well...I think (haven't tried to fit it after gluing yet.

Now the reason for my post: I marked a circle around the engine mount so I could roll it over inverted and redrill the holes. Once bolted up I measure the position of it on the firewqall and it is offset to the left 1/8". Is this a design thing or a manufacturing goof? Shoul dI preserve the 1/8" offset when I drill the new holes? Maybe it's in anticipation of shimming the mount for right thrust figuring that will center the motor? Help? You guys that have them in the air...where is your mount set in relation to the centerline?

Thanks and God bless,

I'll check back in a little bit...going back to work on the Edge.
