Barry. Can I ask a question. I am looking for some comments on the UCD 46 or 60 or even the 120 versus the ST. I have been flying for 2 years. Lots of time in a trainer, and the last 4 months with a Twist. I just love that Twist. It has taugth me a lot about flying but yet is easy to land. So now I am looking to move up a notch.

I have been following this ST forum for some time now, and am considering purchasing one. I really like the looks of the ST and the reviews that I have read. But 2 things have occured. This dead spot that you refer to, and when I went to my LHS the other day, I asked them what might be a good step up from my Twist. They strongly recommended the UCD 60. I asked about the ST. Again they recommended the UCD over the ST. They had both in stock.

Do you have any comments on this issue. Remember I do not really do the 3D stuff. Just doing lots of crazy aerobatices, and want a plane that I can take to the field have some fun, and returrn the next day and do it again. Naturally I will try to grow into more 3D stuff.


I am starting to think that perhapse the UCD should be my first step up from the Twist then the ST? Any comments from any contributors would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I live in Ontario Canada, but we get to spend several months in Florida in the winter, so my second flying season starts tomorrow! Yahoo !!
