i can say that if you can handle a twist (on high rates) you can fly almost any conventional monowing airplane. i also have a twist and aside from my now sold funtana it has the fastest roll rate of any of my 3-d planes with authoritive elevator control as well. the thing you will have to remember is that usually a larger plane will land a little faster than a 40 size 3-d plane with a 2 1/2" thick wing (the twist). as long as you are comfortable with tuning engines to run well and as you say, you are also comfortable with your twist, you should be fine. i went from my twist to a gas katana quarter scale and had no problems at all except feeling out the higher stall speed which only took a few landings.
