Default H-9 Edge 540T Elevator Question

mpowrmnt,

I have a T6XA which I think is very similar to your T6XAS.

I just did a bit of playing and this is what I would do:

Assumptions:

1) You will need two channels for aileron (1 & 6) and elevator (2 & 5).

Procedure:

(1) You will need to disable the GEAR (ch5) switch...otherwise this could inadvertently cause the elv half on ch5 to deflect if you accidentally hit the switch. To do this use one of you Pmix function and choose master and slave as ch5. Now set the r/u and l/u to "-" 100%. Of course you need to turn the function "ON". Now the gear switch should have no effect.

(2) Now choose another pmix to mix elv ch2 with elv ch5. This is pretty straight forward and generally requires one to choose the desired amount of travel. Depending on your physical installation either ch2 or ch5 may need to be reversed. To do this go to the REV menu section and do the do.

(3) For ailerons choose FLPR function which mixes ch1 with ch6.

This should take care of the ailerons and elevator leaving ch3=throttle and ch4=rudder.

Now your out of channels. Congrats!

There may be another way, but I think this should work pretty good. Let me know I'll be curious

Mike
