Default RE: Flaperons on Mini Edge 540?

MAYDAY:

Who eaver designed the mini-Edge 540 must have also designed the mini-funtanna. I have the same problem with it. Mine is setup with the recommended equipment and flys and lands like a lead sled. The first few flights resulted in damaged composit landing gear which I repaired with CA. I finally fabricated some metal alum. gear, so it just bends a little on a rough landing. As time goes by, my landings improve to where now I have learned to land at a higher speed, sort of a wheel landing with no bumps. Last night I took the gear out of it intending to sell it off. It does not fly as advertised either as far as 3D is conserned, but is a good pattern type plane. Not what I bought it for! Replaced it with a rcxplanes.com foamy Illusion and liket it so well also bought their Extra 330L. Have flown nothing else in the past 7 weeks, and have no desire to fly any of the 12 on the ceiling. Gonna have a garage sale soon I think. Now I just harrier down to a nice soft landing and enjoy the oooooahhhs from the gallery. These foamys are the best of the best in my view, give one a try and you will also be a fan of these great and tough foamys. Follow their equipment recommendations and you will be another avid fan as I am. Note the money back guarantee! ENJOY
