RE: Is covering hard?
Is covering hard? Sort of like fly fishing. You can learn to cast a fly well enough to catch a fish in ten minutes then spend the rest of your life perfecting the art.
A better question may be is learning to cover worth the effort. If having a plane that you take pride in and one that stands out from the mass production stuff, Yes. If (horrors!) you have to repair it and wish to have the repair match the original, go for it. If you wish to advance to building your own models and enjoying the accompanying satisfaction, then covering is a necessary, and not very difficult skill.
