for a 6 year old i dont see how you could go wrong. obviously you wouldnt be able to turn the truck into a racer but it would give you the feel as a parent on wether or not your son could handle it. The price isnt bad at all. I am thinking about turning my T3 over to my 6 year old and that is why I started the post T3 to T4 so I could also get some input. The difference is I have to still put a motor, battery, ESC, and radio in my old T3 which gets rather costly. (transfered all the expensive stuff over to the T4FT) Of course it will all be bottom end stuff but still wonder if my boy will appreciate it and handle it. Maybe I should get one of those first to lol. I have these dreams of my boy and I racing cars on the street considering my wife made me sell my dirt bike lol. So found a smaller yet still expensive hobby to upset her lol. Hope it helped.
