Aeromaster Too
I'm finishing up and GP Super Aeromaster 60 which is identical to the AAMCO Aeromaster Too (I have that kit also) except for the cowling, wing attachment, and rear wheel attachment. I went with version 3 (both wings 52-1/2" swept). The ailerons are 19 inches by 2-1/4 inches and two (2) provide all the differential the plane needs. Watch the CG it is different for each version. I had a version 3 Aeromaster (AAMCO) bumper kit from 1982 to about 1993 or 4 with painted silk. It flew quite well but covering got tore and rear end was terribly soaked with exhaust. This one is covered with Ultracote and powered by a ST 61 ring. My trouble areas were throttle linkage, and one aileron wasn't flat. I would also recommend not using rubber bands for wing attachment per the AAMCO kit. That is the one positive improvement of the GP over the AAMCO. Also, don't ignore the 1 deg neg incidence on the upper wing. It helps. Stay in touch and be real careful about the mods you make to this plane.
