i got one of those, would do range tests just fine, 0ff throttle, 50% throttle, 100% throttle, with tx down on the ground and over 200 feet away with no glitching, as soon as i got it in the air; failure, starts glitching like mad. crashed plane

built new plane, replaced the esc (It was new and overheated on 50% it's rated continuous current load) as i thought my esc was the only problem i flew again with a new esc and a new plane but the same micro 05s rx. I did even more rigourous range tests, again passed with flying colours. I take the plane 100 away from me in the air and poof! same mysterious glitches. It was the reciever, not the esc. (that doesn't explain the esc overheat but...)

I sent the faulty micro 05s receiver back to hitec and am using another rx in an new plane but with all the exact same other components and in the exact same field with no problems at all.

Hitec has never answered my email concerning this issue, the rx has been sent back over a month ago.


I am very displeased to say the least. I am in the market for a new radio system these days, something nice. You can be certain it won't be a hitec. JR here i come.
