i got one of those, would do range tests jsut fine, 0ff throttle, 50% throttle, 100% throttle, with tx down on hte ground and over 200 feet= no glitching, as soon as i got it in the air; failure, starts glitching like mad. crashed plane
built new plane, replaced esc (was new and overheated on 50% it's rated continuous current load) as i thought esc was the only problem i flew again with a new esc and a new plane. I did even more rigourous range tests, again passed with flying colours. I take the plane 100 away from me in the air and poof! same mysterious glitches.
I sent the esc back and am using another one with all the exact same other components and in the exact same field with no problems.
Hitec has never answered my email concerning this issue, and the esc was then sent back through my lhs, this was over a month ago and still no news...
I am very displeased to say the least. I am in the market for a new radio system these days, something nice. You can be certain it won't be a hitec. JR here i come.
Your suggesting an ESC is the problem, the Micro 05S is a Receiver what are you drawing a correlation too? The post above is about the Micro 05S RX.
