The b/w sepiatone really adds character to those photos. Beautiful planes. I love the Trexlers, wish they weren't $30 a pair. That also looks like a great flying field; I see one lone airplane magnet in that first pic. Do you belong to the Brainbusters club?
Thanks! I almost didn't buy the Trexlers when I saw the price tag. Once I opened the box, I had to have them. I am a member of the Tidewater Radio Control club. The field is called Wildhorse and it's in Chesapeake VA. Love the field for the lack of those pesky airplane grabbers [8D] Just some corn and soybeans when planted.
congratulations. sure looks beautiful. whats the power?. getting ready to start on another 80" Playboy and then another Big Qaker -- will be my 4th one since the late 1930's (old Megow kit). had a 14 foter just about completed prior to Hurricane Katrina, understand most of it it still salvageable, have to build new tail feathers for it. keep the old timers flying. dick stamm
Thanks! Got lots of compliments out at the field, especially on the covering/paintjob. That Vintage Solartex is simply wonderful stuff to work with and takes paint well. I can't believe the 14 foot job made it through that storm! Sounds like you're on the rebound with all of those projects going. Now you need to get a new camera so we can see what you're up to
Take care,
Scott
