I went through this here somewhere and several can verify it. I installed a jettstream muffler on a G2300 recently. I used Perematex threadlock. Alhtough it is high temp does not mean its right for the job which is what i learned. The pipe kept getting loose after 2 flights. This went on for weeks and was *&^%me off! Somebody here mentioned Prematex "Sleeve Retainer." It comes in the same small tube as the others and available at NAPA. This took care of the problem.

I guess the regular high tem high strength if fine but liquifies when it gets too hot. The sleeve retainer does not do this.
