A 10x6 on a ST .40 will scoot right along. Mine turns 13,800 with a MAS 10x6 and I have to fly at 1/2 throttle most of the time. You might also want to experiment with 11x5 & 12x4 sizes. These will give a slower top end with more thrust to haul you out of trouble...
