You're right there Dave. I don't think the engine's hurt, but I'm gonna use a indicator to make sure the shaft isn't bent. It went straight it like a lawn dart and it did break one end of the prop off. It just broke two small 1/8" pieces of fin just under the valve cover. I didn't have my Tru Turn spinner on it thank goodness, just the lock nuts. The ground was soft (hay field). So,,,,, whats the odds it's hurt,, if, the shaft isn't bent? I mean, even if the shaft isn't bent, could there be damage inside. I know you can't give me a "for sure" answer, just "from experience" kind of response.
