Service is the other issue that you need to consider. From all the posts I have read over the years it adds up to something like this 1. best service Desert Aircraft, 2. ZDZ second place, 3. BME last place, They just don't answer there phone, I've heard that BME is a small business and to busy to take calls. What logic "I'm to busy to take care of the people that have already spent money with me." I would say that sums it up. BUY SOMETHING else that you can get serviced.

This is my opinion I'm sure others will feel different

Thanks
I have had Keith do some service for me. The turn around time was 9 days. You are correct, it can be hard to get him on the phone, so just e-mail him and he will respond the same day. I have personally talked to him more than once and he has never rushed or hurried our conversation.
If you just send in your motor with a letter explaining what's wrong he will fix it and return it promptly. Don't forget return postage if needed.

This has been my experience to date. Sometimes the internet can propagate many un-thruths, and I think I know where you read that bit about being to busy. DON'T believe it. If you treat Keith fair he will treat you equally fair.

How did you other BME owners beat the prop slippage thing?
Tighten the hell out of it and use a spinner that has good knurling, it won't slip, mine doesn't and I prefer it to my other engines with all those dang bolts.
