Default Evolution .46 throttle problem

Just came back from the field after flying my Sig Kougar. The kougar has an evo .46 in it and the plane flies well with this engine.
Anyhoo, during the 2nd flight had throttled back to get lined up for landing. Problem is, the stupid thing was going way too fast to land so I just flew around til it ran out of fuel. No matter what I did decreasing the trim on the throttle, the plane kept going at a good clip.
I thought maybe the linkage or servo boned up. After deadsticking, I notice the "hole" in the barrel in the carb was about 1/3 to 1/4 closed even though the radio's throttle was all the way closed. Hmmm...WTS is goin on here!!!! Disconnected the throttle linkage completely and tried to move the throttle arm on the engine to close it all the way. It would not close by hand. So, I'm thinkin something is whacked on this carb. NE1 here of this problem? The throttle should close completely by hand but its left open about 1/3.

Dave...
