Without re-locating the throttle/brake servo to work with a rotary carb it won't work. Not having the car in front of me I can't say if it can be modified to work or not.
You are only going to notice a differance in the rpm's at top speed. If you don't have a long enough straight away to run the car at top speed then it won't make a differance at all.
Is there a reason that you have to have a rear exhaust motor? There really isn't that much of a performace differance.
