the problem is that Ikarus does not sell the software ikarus does sell you the right to use their software. (9th district court in 2001 i believe, Amazon v Barns and Noble on the one click technology, i was an "expert" witnes when the case what here in seattle). now that said Ikarus has to replace the media (this case a cable) but they can charge you anything they want.
