Wow - where was all that when I was doing my documentation search?!!

Re stencils, I've ordered a set of 1/48 Aeromaster ones for the P47 - am going to try scanning and enlarging to req'd size and reprint onto my own decal paper. Remains to be seen how the quality comes out, but will give a good selection if it works. Hope I'm not infringing any copyrights - I am paying for the originals and just "modifying" them

Like I care........[8D]

BTW, now I've done the bulk of the painting, in acrylic lacquer, I was planning to do the smaller stuff (noseart, kill markings etc.) in enamels. Just wondering what I can then use for a weathering "wash" over it all - maybe water-based acrylic? If so, any suggestions for final clear-coat? I'm guessing lacquer will stuff the enamels. Would matt polyurethane be o.k. over all that?

Thanks for any advise.
