Comparing gasoline engines to four cycle glow engines is like comparing two cycle glow to four cycle glow. The four cycles have about two thirds the powerof 2c glow, but swing a bigger prop. The same holds true when comparing gas 2c to glow 4c. So gas 2c would have about the same power as a 4c glow with more weight in most cases for gas. A bigger prop really makes up for other short comings, but it will fly slower. You also need to watch the wing loading with the heavier gas engines.
