RE: TF GS P47 Build - yeah another bloody one!!
What is up with the giant photos. It is making my DSL work over time to get this page downloaded. lol. I finally got my retract air kit from tower hobbies. They sent USPS which took 8 days. Atleast Now I can sheet the bottom of the fuselage. I ordered the robart retracts from them also but on backorder along with the fuel tank. So who knows when Ill get them. Im getting close to where I got to decide what engine to use. So from what I have been reading is the G 62 still the most popular choice? The only experience I have with a gas motor is with a BME 50 which is in my TF P 51 arf. It is a reliable engine that starts pretty easy. Is the G62 comparable power wise? I am running a 20-12 apc on the bme. I got a little more speed when I changed from a 22-10 zinger. Also lands a little hotter with the 20-12. By the way nice looking planes fellas. If my plane comes out half as nice I will be happy.
