I am having some trouble interpreting these two systems. Could somebody explain to me how the captive screw system Dick used works? Does he screws the fuselage together (i.e. axial screws) and then secures the screws with a perpendicular screw ala wheel collar?

Regarding Bob Pastorellos rotomount (home made Hyde mount?), are the two balsa discs touching themselves in the inner faces or the only thing keeping the mount together is the rubber ring glued with cyano to the balsa discs? Are the discs regular balsa or cross grain?

I would like to introduce these advances to my winter project (still undecided). Please apologize my ignorance.....
