I would not say the plane is low performance... it will do pretty much anything... its just a bit expensive compared to some of the newer lighter planes that's all. I ripped around pretty good with a Brison, but I always wanted more power and less weight.

You should look at the BME Edge II or the Yak.. low priced and very light / super high performance. I had the original heavier BME Edge and it was a blast to fly with a DA50... the new ones are almost 2 pounds lighter!
Of course the QQ Yak is in stock too... I just got mine... best plane this size I have seen yet... but it 'aint cheap!
