Your figures seem abnormal to me. I sell tons of the MVVS (original) version of this engine. My own 26, with the tuned silencer happily spins a 18x8 Mezjlik at 8300rpm. The MVVS in-cowl muffler yeilds 7800 on the same prop.
The 26 and 35cc engines are easy handling, powerful engines.
