Default RE: AMA sanctioned events stinginess

He asked for "OPINION". What I stated is my OPINION. Only "B" contests or Cr events can be restricted to any specific group of AMA members.

If some individual knows that a club, group, and/or CD is restricting otherwise then take it up with the AMA.

That is RIGHT.
Hoss-

That's not opinion, it's a citation from the rules. I suspect you are capable of thinking for yourself, without having to be told how to think by rules somebody else has made up. I am, and my opinion is that this club's policy is WRONG.

If a AMA chartered club makes rules/restrictions for that specific Club, then such is up to that club's members as long as it is within the directives of AMA.

I consider the above to provide 2 choices: 1) Join the club and try to make changes if they so need changing, and/or 2) Mind one's own business.

IMO that is the RIGHT thing and it does appear to be the legal thing. I don't see any need for any additional decoding.
Your choice 1) is unsavory; I'm with JR on this, "Simply, it is not a club I would want to belong to." As for choice 2) obviously I've opted out of that one. Right thing? Not for me. This club's actions suck hard.
