RE: Kangke Lazer 2000
I'm on my 2nd Kangke Laser 2000. I haven't assembled the 2nd one yet.
It's not the absolute best 3D plane in the world. It will do 3D, but the ailerons aren't really that big. They stop about 15" from the root.
My tail is airfoiled.
First plane had a ZDZ60 in it. I was not happy with the enigne. I had ignition failures (twice) and hard starting problems the whole time I had the engine.
I dumb-thumbed the plane about a month ago. Totaled the engine too. Good Riddens. I won't be replacing that ZDZ60.
I'm going to use a G62 on C&H ignition for this second plane.
It's a GREAT pattern and IMAC plane. Absolutely GREAT!! It flies GOOD!
I don't want to say that it won't 3D. It will. But it just won't perform at the same level as some of the newer designs out there.
If I wanted one--and I could get it for $310--you bet I'd buy it. In a heartbeat. I paid over $450 for my first one and $425 for the second one. $310 is a screamin' deal.
