Buy it in 8 oz bottles from Lone Star, refill your empty 1 oz bottle. put the rest in the freezer till you need to refill the little bottle again. works perfect. also saves lots of $$$. dick
This is what I do. But, I store it in the fridge instead of the freezer. I've kept 8oz refill bottles in the fridge for over a year--AFTER I opened them for that first refill on the 1oz bottle. Still works great.
Depending on my projects--I will use an 8oz bottle in 6months or up to 18 months. Never had a problem keeping it in the fridge.
I wonder if you filled the air space with nitrogen or Co2 if it would help to keep the glue from curing? I think it's the o2 in the air that makes it cure--so if you could displace the o2 with an inert gas--maybe it would extend the shelf life????????[:-]
