But I would imagine there is someone, somewhere that is not likely to be welcome at that club. Wouldn't you agree ?
So I guess discriminating against everyone within the 7500 square mile area is ok with you

There may be one club in Tyler, but there are 4 more within the 50 mile radius. One rule says they can't fly there without joining or getting a park permit. Another rule states park permit holders can't fly at a sanctioned event. So, can someone without a park permit, non club member, who lives within the 50 mile radius, still fly at a sanctioed event? Ever come across this problem, LCS?

Actually I was at the membership meeting when the 50 mile rule was blurted into existence and ultimately passed. The actual rule goes on to state that guest must belong to another club beyond 50 miles and the guest will be required to show proof.

AMA members without club affiliation are not allowed to be a guest period.

NO!! I did not vote for such a rule but everyone else there did except for myself and one other.

Of course I left the meeting disgusted and have decided the club is not an organization I can support.
