I had to go back to my 121 and 131 days...but I think you guys have some good accurate info here...but it seems to me on an aproach to landing ILS or VFR the throttle was used keep us in the air and the steering wheel guided the ship...4000+hrs and never lost a single sole... but then again the throttle can be managed to stay on GS with a fixed pitch...

but then again that was a long time ago...and since then I have hit my noggin a few too many times..[sm=bananahead.gif]

Set RTO Power, Power Set, airspeed alive, cross checked 70 kts, v1 rotate, positive rate gear up, gear lights out, ding ding, flaps 5, flaps up, Yellow bug Yaw dampner on, auto pilot on...now gimme my magazine....
