You can probably go on to change the club, one way or another. The very real possibility is that the field will ultimately be closed to all. It is not worth the price to make the others conform.

The other thing you will find is that there are many others that agree with you. Most have probably joined other clubs in the area. That would be my suggestion to you. It is also what I did when confronted with the club out here that I wanted no part of. That was a couple of years ago. The club out here is in the process of imploding internally. The day will come for the club there. All one has to do is read the bylaws to see that the club is... well... different. Leave 'em alone and be glad they are all in one place.
