RE: Kangke Lazer 2000
DP, It's not that I don't like 3D because I do. However, I enjoy the "Scale" end of this hobby more than the "3D" type. After all.......How realistic is it to watch an airplane hover all day? Sadly, that's what most people call 3D flying, and what most people attempt to do. I'll be the first to admit that it's real exciting to see someone that can really perform the "High Alpha" aerobatics correctly, and slow enough to keep up with the airplane while it is doing it. But most of the people I've watch try to fly 3D are so high in altitude, and fly so fast, it's just not interesting enough to keep my attention. My interest has always been more toward scale aerobatic type flying rather than 3D. Years ago I competed in many scale contest and even had some success. As a matter of fact, I won the SE "Scale Masters" in my class back in the 70's. I'm going to use my new MVVS 45 MC on the Lazer, and I'm sure I'll be pleased with the results. I'll probably just add some 1/2" tri stock under the elevator and PIN the verticle stab to the Fuse. Like you said, for 310.00 how can you go wrong? One could probably make a hundred bucks on the kit next year, just holding on to it for a year. at the rate the price of kit's keep rising, maybe even more.
