Default RE: The best built up 3d plane?

RCBUM:

This past year, I have built up 4 balsa kits plus the arf Minni Funtanna. They were all a general disssapointment as far as 3-D ability. The Mini Funtanna was OK as far as a sport plane is concerned, however a 3-D dog im my view. By chance, a friend was out flying a foamy one weekend that I thought flew very well, but the friend is a outstanding pilot. He offered me a fly, it was love at first flight! A foamy yet? Yess, but a very unsuual foamy by www.rc.planes.com. They are great flyers, they are rigid having a bottom full lingth 45% brace along each side, and also tough being from 6mm depron. My first was their Illusion. A few weeks after flying the Illusion, I bought their Extra 330L. Illusion powered by a AXI 2212, and phoenix 25. With the extra I boutght their Hacker 20-22L and controller at the best price on the net. Both planes fly differently, but still the best I have ever had sticks on. For the past several months, my fleet of 12 on the ceiling have been gathering dust, and no junk there. A Hide Cap-X, banshee, two UCD. The rcx planes inspire confidence, so I am low and showing off. Love harriers to a landing, hovereing as long as I like, tail toutch, torque rolls at command and just plane great fun. Have stuck them in the ground on several occasions, damage very minor and back in the air after a few minutes of repair. Spent more time fixing the Mini Funtannas landing gear that total on the rcx planes. Yes, I am one of the local clubs better flyers, but far from outstanding. Yet I am doing things now that no one else in the club can. What really impresses the crowd is that I am 70 year old and able to do this stuff. Wish I could look in the mirror and say its me, but the truth is obvious, its the planes. now there are 8 members flying these things, all love the heck out of them. The best yet is that the owner-operator of rcx planes, Bud Wilkinson, is a knowledgable guy on electrics, and gives you a money back guarantee that this stuff as recommended will do what they advertise and tell you. It just cant get much better than this. Yea, I probably lead their fan club, am not associated with them in any manner and pass the word when I can, knowing people will appreciate the info. Give them a try, experience a new world in RC and ENJOY!
