RE: Genesis ARF build, its here.
My proudest moment as a new builder.
I realize this is the way it SHOULD be, but it really intimidated me. I was able to get the nose ring and motor mount in dead on center. The motor is sitting flush on the mount without the motor screws tightened, and fits perfectly through the nose ring with zero bind on the nose ring. I just knew I would end up needing to tweek the engine into the nose ring just a little. As it is if the firewall was installed on the right angle I should have the right angle of thrust. [8D]
Also just a reminder, this was all fit up with a 1.40 Sport. I have been told by everyone that has handled a 1.60DZ that it is a drop in replacement for the 1.40s. Im still not suposed to be getting the 1.60 in for about 2 weeks. I could go ahead and fly it with my sport but I think Im going to be patient and wait on it...
