Well the DC-10s are as simple as they come... zero deg
on the turbines and 1-2 deg down on the elev..
The drawing I had did not show any pos AOA on the
ground.. ie the nose was not up in the air sitting on the
landing gear... So I built it zero deg also...
I changed the main gear on my old Isobar and ended
up with minus 3-5 deg AOA on the ground... Did
not change a thing... Still rotates no problem
when the airspeed reaches whatever and takes off
a bit later..
Landing gear placement is far more important than
all that.. Hop this helps..
