yep all you have to do is a couple of thing, first is the single speed conversion, also are the wheels, you will need to buy 2.2 inch rims (rusty ones bolt right on) and 2.2 tyres then your set to race at a club event, thats if they have transponders to rent, otherwise you will need to buy your own.(transponders clip onto the car so a computer can count/time laps). a track is not bery hard to build/run i got permission to use a gravel parking lot on the day when it was not used (sunday) then i went to a local mine (you might not be able to do this but any large diametre tube works for lining) and asked for old unusable hydrolic lines. then i called everyone up and put up signs at the LHS (i work for them and this was instigated through them). i get there 1 hour early and drag out the lines, then wet it down with the tap that is close (we needed permision for that too) and for lap counting we only run 5 trucks at a time and my mum tallies them as they pass the line.
