If your looking at some club level racing i would suggest just lots of practice. also get a few sets of rims, front and rear, then on the race day ask around as to what everyone else is running and buy some of those, for front and rear. you will be very surprized about the difference a set of tyres suitable to the surface is. also find a friendly guy and ask them some advice on the setup per that perticular track, most are only happy to help you out.
