That seems to be the norm. I know mine did the same thing and so did John's (oldnavyflyer). I epoxied mine back in and epoxied the other one just for good measure. After epoxying the belly pan on per the instructions, when I installed the wing the leading edge of the belly pan is approx 3/16" lower than the bottom edge of the fuselage and the aft edge of the belly pan is just slightly higher than the fuselage. I just assume that when the plane is sitting on the ground......no one will notice. I talked to a friend of mine in Ohio and he said his was the same.
