On the Evader I ran last winter I didn't do a thing to[X(] I just blasted all the snow and water off with my air compresser right after I brought it in and set it upside down by a air vent from the furnace, so far so good . however I did not run it on roads that had been salted. If you do that go all the way to protect all the goodies and be ready to replace berarings and other metal stuff in the spring
