i know, i know, another pinion question - apols...

im just thinking out loud again - im gonna try some taller ofna/hobao pinions on my truck, if they work and the truck pulls ok, then i may be able to use the genesis pinions too. the reason im considering the gen ones is becaused the smaller ofna ones do wear a fair bit on gen spurs and these taller ones may also, maybe the genesis pinions wont wear so quickly?

i have a few options re engine mounts and therefore options as to what clutch bell i use. i think i can use a HPI onroad 2-speed clutch bell as i think these have m12 threads for 1st and 2nd and would work with the genesis pinions - is that right?

edit - ok so its not the hpi bell... doh - but im sure theres some out there that use m12 threads for both 1st and 2nd arent there?

just found it - traxxas do one - it will work wont it? just gotta sort some bearings if they aint std clutch ones...?
