You do not need flapperons for the Aresti, not at all. Firstly, what engine are you using and is your CG correct? With a SA72 or something like a 50 sized 2C it will definately be nose heavy. I had a SA72 and needed about 2 oz in the tail. Nose heavy will cause the plane to come in hot. Done the inverted flight test for CG? Secondly, maybe you need to flare the plane more for landings, mine did not come in that hot at all. Was at a reasonable pace.
