If it says JR on it, then it is already positive shift. I am unfamiliar with the 535, but the closest thing I could find online was the 555, which is not shift selectable. Just look at the rx. If it has a little jumper wire at the bottom, then it is shift selectable. If not, then it is not possible to change shifts with this rx.
